I'm an Indianapolis-based designer and visual artist. I am passionate about the design process and the user's experience, whether that is walking through a lobby of displays, flipping through a program, or taking an eLearning module. Nothing brings me more joy than to see design enlivening and enriching the world. (Except perhaps a Shirley Jackson novel in October.)

When I'm not focused on my own work, I enjoy taking in contemporary art exhibits, live theatre, and mass quantities of color. I'm fascinated by the question of what a designer or artist is trying to say and why they make the choices they make. These questions inform the way I think of my own audiences and process.

I have worked alone and with a team on everything from instructional materials to identity branding. Regardless of scope and resources, there are three things I want to accomplish with every project: Make it look good. Make it work. Make it mean something. Otherwise, what's the point?
